I used to bring my kids out here when they were younger and this place was really nice . Now, not so much. We just came out for the day to swim , play volleyball, and putt putt golf . The swimming hole was still pretty nice except there was an older gentleman on a covered stage with some karaoke type equipment who talked over this loud system a lot about his song choices, why he chose them (sad stories to go along with the sad songs he chose ALL DAY !) with every old sad song he would pic up the mic and sing along with the songs . All the music he chose to play loud and sing along with was way old and most songs we had never heard . After an hour of this I went to the office to see if he was leaving anytime soon and the lady said he's just getting started but you can go tell him to change the music , I told her I didn't want to and she said me either. So...it went on and on . We decided to play water volleyball and my daughter went to get a ball and the lady told her they don't have a ball a dog ate it . So no beach or water volleyball.... my daughter wanted to play putt putt so we went to check it out and it seemed to have been deserted, no outdoor carpet , rotten boards, holes full of dirt and leaves , and weeds grown up. Last but not least I took my daughter to see the fish in the fish pond and saw a couple of perch and a small school of baby catfish under the pier . We got there at 3 o'clock and at 6:15 the guy on the karaoke stage said one more old George Jones song and I'm gone . We all said thank God .... at 6:50 his one more old loud song had turned into 10 songs so we put on dry clothes and was getting in my truck at 7 pm and he finally had stopped playing and singing along . This place seems to be on its last leg and has a for sale sign on the fence as you come in . I hope someone buys this place and builds it back up to the way I remembered it years ago . Very disappointing experience that I drove my kids 2 hours one way to be a part of .

The outside view from the cabin was beautiful. However, The microwave did not work at all. We had to buy ice for the cooler because the fridge would not keep our food or drinks cooled. Cooking dinner consumed the majority of the afternoon because the the plug in stove top burner did not work properly. The kids being happy was the only thing we enjoyed from this trip. Considering the price we paid for an overnight stay and the overall complications we had with the cabin it was not worth it. After reporting our experience to the staff we were told it would be reported to maintenance and in my opinion was not a suitable closure from such a negative experience. We will not be returning or recommending this park.

We live here and Love it! Owners are wonderful, Friendly People!

This place is out of the way and really peace full. The giant slide was a blast! The cabins are still recovering from the flood in March 2016 and need some tlc. But the staff is extremely nice and helpful, the lakes are beautiful and the country setting is nice. We will be back again soon for another quit get away.

Instead of being called a resort it should be called a campground. For $195 a night my boyfriend and myself got a "cabin" that was more like a camp. It had no TV it had a plug-in 2 sided burner sitting in the kitchen cabinet. Also. It had a small grill outside with the actual Grill missing on the inside. The blinds were from the dollar store and all torn up and messed up. Like they couldn't be replaced? Also the man-made Beach that is located on the property smelled like human urine. It has no filtration system in it. DISGUSTING!!! This place really should be illegal for people or even Pete's to swim in. I would NEVER GO BACK AND ADVISE EVERY ONE I KNOW NOT TO GO. IT'S A WASTE OF PRECIOUSLY EARNED MONEY. I WISH I COULD SAY SOMETHING POSITIVE ABOUT THIS PLACE BUT THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING POSITIVE TO SAY!!!
